Captain Dan Lemon is the driving force behind Reel Therapy Sportfishing and a well-known name on Lake Erie for those seeking dependable fishing charters. With years of local knowledge and hands-on experience, Captain Dan offers more than just guidance—he shares a deep respect for the lake and its seasonal rhythms. His calm and steady leadership creates an environment where anglers of all levels feel supported, and each trip is handled with care, patience, and a strong work ethic.
Dan’s passion for fishing started early, thanks to time spent on the water with his father. By age twelve, his dedication had already taken root—he used his paper route earnings to purchase a 12-foot Jon boat, giving him the freedom to start exploring local waters on his own. That early drive turned into a lifelong path, one built not only on fishing success but also on a genuine desire to help others experience the same enjoyment and connection to the sport.
Specializing in Walleye, Captain Dan adapts his techniques based on the season and the conditions, using both jigging and trolling to stay on the bite. His knowledge of Lake Erie’s patterns ensures every trip is backed by thoughtful strategy and the right tools for the job. Whether you're new to fishing or bringing years of experience, you'll benefit from Captain Dan’s approachable style and thorough understanding of what makes a day on the water both productive and enjoyable.
Reel Therapy’s fishing trips are powered by a 2015 Parker Pilothouse, equipped with a 250HP Yamaha engine. Built for reliability and comfort, the vessel reaches cruising speeds quickly and handles the lake’s conditions with ease. With room for up to six guests, it offers a clean and organized layout ideal for long hours of fishing. The Parker Pilothouse ensures that every charter has the equipment and space needed for a smooth and enjoyable outing on Lake Erie.
